Our story

We're Wessel and Jan, the friends behind BOTL Amsterdam. We met at university and share a love of cycling and motorbikes. Living in Utrecht and Amsterdam, we both struggled to find a stylish way to store our bikes in our city-centre apartments. Our first design was born out of café conversations and weekends experimenting in Jan's family garage.

Our range

Once our bike hangers were established, we started looking for the next thing worth giving a place on the wall. Working from home at our dining tables led to a simple, sustainable bamboo laptop stand. Our latest design, the surfboard mount, was inspired by ocean-loving friends living in apartments around the world.
